Hi! Welcome back to my blog or just “welcome” if it is your first time on my blog!

It’s been a little while since I’ve written a blog post but my heart has been overflowing with blog ideas and inspiration to write so I figured before I jump back into writing posts on a consistent basis I should explain a little bit of what I have been up to during my blog’s hiatus. Since my last blog post almost two years ago, A LOT has changed in my life… including my last name 😉

Two years ago, the love of my life asked me to marry him and thus began a year-long process of wedding planning, discussing marriage and our future dreams together, and the roller coaster of emotions that comes along with planning a wedding and simultaneously making sure that everyone is happy (SPOILER: it is impossible for everyone to be happy but I sure did try hard). I am toying with the idea of writing some engagement/wedding/marriage-related blog posts so if you have any ideas or questions on this topic, please comment below!

After getting engaged in May 2017, our year-long engagement seemed to drag on forever but also felt like it was flying by since my to-do list was always evolving but never seemed to get any shorter. 2018 was a year of so much change as well. In May, Adam and I got married, in June we honeymooned in Italy, in July we moved across the country, and in late summer we both started new jobs/roles. With all these major life changes AND since it is one of my favorite songs by Thomas Rhett, “Life Changes” was the most appropriate title for this first blog post back.

I am truly excited to get back into blogging. Writing has been on my mind often but I let doubt stop me from clicking that Publish button all too often. I am back now though and have quite a few ideas lined up for upcoming blog posts; however, I am also open to reader questions/suggestions for future blog topics so please leave a comment below if you have a topic you would be interested in reading about.

Thank you for reading! If you’d like to be alerted whenever I publish a new post every week, subscribe via email at the bottom of the home page. You can also find me online on FacebookInstagramPinterest, and Twitter.
